A new mural on the wall at Sam Flax Art and Design Supplies, 1401 E. Colonial Drive, painted by two artists for $10,000, has recetly joined the ranks of others in downtown Orlando.

Owner David Flax said he wanted to promote his art-supply business, while promoting outdoor art--something everybody could enjoy.

The 20-foot-high, 142-foot-long, mural painted a picture of urban life in Orlando with its robots, buildings and rainbows against a bright blue sky.

Some Passers-by even got a piece of the painting action when local artists Andrew Spear and Chuck Marklin of Metro Finishes let them help. The artwork was unveiled this month and is alreadydrawing attention with a lot of people stopping to look at it and take pictures.
