Constructions of the new basketball arena, performing-arts center and renovated Florida Citrus Bowl, all with a price tag of $1 billion are well on their way but there is one very big problem--the venues include little on-site parking, and would leave symphony patrons walking for blocks in their high heels and dress shoes.
At the Orlando Magic's new arena, a very elite few will be premium ticket-holders of the parking spaces dubbed as the "Gucci garage" --while the majority will have to walk about a mile from where they had parked their cars.
